Genome has achieved a significant milestone by becoming the 5th largest electronic money institution (EMI) in Lithuania in terms of client funds turnover, as reported by the Bank of Lithuania for the second quarter of 2024.

Our business wallet users have received a significant upgrade when it comes to business transfers. They can now receive and send payments to over 40 countries via Genome’s international transfer feature!
We use an Intelligent Routing System to ensure our clients’ transfers are sent via the cheapest, most efficient route! The options include SWIFT, TARGET2, Faster Payments, and CHAPS! The same money transfer methods are used for incoming international transfers, plus BACS!

Genome is well known for offering the three principal currencies (EUR, USD, GBP) for personal and business accounts. In 2024, we decided to take our clients’ convenience even further!
You can now start an account inside Genome in 11 currencies! That’s right, our multi-currency feature now offers the following currencies: Polish Zloty (PLN), Swiss Franc (CHF), Japanese Yen (JPY), Canadian Dollar (CAD), Czech Koruna (CZK), Hungarian Forint (HUF), Swedish Krona (SEK), and Australian Dollar (AUD).
Moreover, all these new currencies can be used to send international transfers!
And we have not forgotten about Genome cards! You can effortlessly issue a virtual or a physical card and link it to accounts in PLN, CHF, CZK, HUF, and SEK.
SEPA Instant Transfers launched
It can’t be overstated how crucial the speed of your payments can be – from sending a quick transfer for a family emergency to paying business contractors during the holiday season.
That is why Genome’s latest release is as time-sensitive as ever! SEPA Instant Transfers have become available for all our clients in 2024. This means you can now send and receive euros within seconds – revolutionizing the way you handle financial transactions in the Eurozone.
The new feature will also put zero strains on your expenses, as instant transfers cost the same as Genome’s regular SEPA Credit Transfers.
And one more exciting update for business wallet users – SEPA Instant Transfers can be used when sending batch payments, so you can easily instruct multiple transfers to go out in seconds!
