Even more currencies for international business transfers!

This year, Genome unveiled an international money transfer feature for its business wallet users. It allows receiving and sending business payments to over 40 countries, benefiting from Genome’s easy-to-use interface. 

With these, companies can significantly expand their global footprint and take advantage of new growth opportunities in various markets.

Our team is happy to announce that we are ready to expand this feature. We are adding extra currency options for business wallets to send and receive SWIFT transfers. These currencies are Polish zloty (PLN), Swiss franc (CHF), Japanese yen (JPY), and Canadian dollar (CAD).

It means that you can now also open business wallets in these 4 new currencies – up to 5 accounts per currency. You can start the account in seconds:

1. Open the Genome dashboard in your web browser;
2. Click the Plus sign (+) next to your Business accounts in the left upper corner;
3. Select one of the new currencies (PLN, CHF, JPY, or CAD) and add the account.
4. If you need to, open more accounts in other currencies right away!

Once you’ve started a business account in a new currency, you can store funds in the said currency and exchange money between this account and your existing Genome accounts. And, of course, you can send international transfers. 

If you haven’t used the international transfer feature yet, you first need to check if your company is eligible to use the international transfers feature. Once you have confirmed your eligibility, order account details to send and receive international transfers. Here’s how you can do it:

• Log into Genome and select any of your existing accounts.
• Go to the Account details menu and select the SWIFT tab;
• There, you will see the offer to get account details for your multi-currency IBAN account to send and receive international transfers;
• Click the Get account details button to send your request;
• You will receive access to the account details within 1 business day after placing your request.

Don’t hesitate – try international transfers: pay suppliers, partners, and employees quickly and securely.

Additionally, you can open accounts in PLN, CHF, JPY, or CAD inside your personal wallet. Using these, you can store money inside Genome in these new currencies and exchange funds between the Genome accounts.

Please note that you cannot top up your accounts in USD, GBP, PLN, CHF, JPY, or CAD via a card. You can only top up your accounts that store euros and then transfer money to your accounts in other currencies.   

You also cannot link your accounts in PLN, CHF, JPY, or CAD to Genome’s virtual and physical Visa cards.
