Genome Blog / genome update / Genome’s month in review: August 2021
Aug. 31, 2021
Summer has ended, but Genome’s updates just keep on coming! Let’s see what new exciting articles and features came out in August in this month in a review blog!
More transfers talks
We can’t state enough how many types of money transferring operations there are. And our team is here to explain them all, so you can benefit in the long run!
This month we described how to send money to the mobile money wallet– a very relevant topic nowadays! Another topic covered is bank transfers – how they actually happen and how much time it takes for them to arrive.
And if you need an affordable way to transfer funds to other countries, Genome’s article “6 cheapest ways to send money abroad” has some great advice in it!
Diving deeper into current accounts
In July our team first went over the topic of the current account, but this service encompasses so many things, that we had to elaborate with two more articles!
For one, you can find the information on all the different types of current accounts in our blog – there are many options, and you may even feel that you require more than one account. But can you have more than one current account? Genome has answered this question! Also, you can definitely have more than one personal/business account within Genome – and these accounts are multi-currency ones! Find more information on that in our current account articles!
A new security feature to track sessions
Our team keeps coming up with features that help to keep our clients’ accounts safe. That’s why we have added the new Sessions section to Genome’s dashboard, so you can look up and track the previous log-ins at all times. Find the list of all log-ins into your Genome wallet from different devices/browsers – just go to the Preferences menu and click the Security tab.
The information on each log-in session includes the IP, city, country, the web browser type, and the operating system version (for the OS). You can easily terminate all the previous sessions if necessary!
Explaining the difference between cards
Last but not least, Genome had a couple of articles about cards. Particularly, we compared debit, prepaid, and credit cards, as they have different features each person can find advantageous in particular.
Our team also dedicated the whole article to debit cards – their security and benefits, as this type of card is pretty common among people. Speaking of which, if you haven’t already, pre-order Genome’s virtual and physical debit cards for personal and business users!
