Our team continues to expand Genome’s services for companies operating internationally. Today, we are happy to share an important update: the United Arab Emirates is now approved for onboarding business clients under a high-risk classification and pricing model.
Eligible UAE-registered companies can now apply for a Genome business account and use a wide range of our financial services, including international SWIFT transfers!
What this update means for UAE businesses
With this update, UAE business clients can be reviewed and onboarded under Genome’s high-risk business account pricing. This is especially useful for companies that operate across borders, work with international partners, or need reliable access to business payment infrastructure.
Inside Genome, business clients can manage company funds and support day-to-day operations with a dedicated EUR IBAN account. It grants them easier access to European partners and payments across the region.
Moreover, Genome’s international business transfers are available to UAE business clients as well. Companies can use SWIFT to make cross-border payments, work with suppliers and contractors, and support operations outside the SEPA zone.
UAE businesses can also apply for a merchant account with Genome to collect payments from European customers via instant bank payments. This allows merchants to receive account-to-account payments quickly and offer European customers a convenient payment method powered by Open Banking.

UAE is now a new destination for SWIFT transfers!
The United Arab Emirates is now available as a SWIFT payment destination, meaning business clients registered within supported countries can send and receive SWIFT transfers to and from the UAE.
UAE companies approved for onboarding can also use Genome’s international business transfers. For instance, they can easily support everyday cross-border operations, such as paying suppliers in the US in USD, settling invoices with European partners in EUR, or receiving payments from clients in the UK in GBP.
UAE businesses can also use these currencies to manage international contractor payments, group company transfers, import/export transactions, and other B2B payments across different markets.
Genome’s SWIFT transfers are designed for high-value cross-border payments, especially when companies need to work outside the SEPA zone or process payments in different currencies.
International business transfers can be made in EUR, USD, GBP, PLN, CHF, JPY, CAD, CZK, HUF, SEK, AUD, and DKK. They provide more flexibility when businesses receive payments or pay partners, contractors, suppliers, and group companies across different markets.
International business transfers can support many practical payment scenarios. Companies can use Genome to:
Pay and receive payments from international suppliers and manufacturers.
Settle B2B contracts with partners abroad.
Move funds between group companies.
Receive and send payments to outsourced partners and contractors.
Manage cross-border service provider payments.
Support business operations in non-SEPA markets.
